Weedeater Featherlite keeps dying

Hi Guys,

I need help on urgent basis regarding my two years old Weedeater Featherlite. It starts quite well but when I slow down the choke level, it suddenly dies. I am facing this issue from two days. What is the actual reason behind it?

Regards

Susan

Hi Susan,

From the given description, it seems that the muffler or exhaust port is blocked due to carbon deposits. Follow these steps for doing a detailed examination on your Weedeater Featherlite to rectify the problem.

  • Firstly, take out the muffler while making it sure that exhausts port is completely clear.
  • With a muffler off, try to start the Weedeater’s engine
  • If engine starts & works properly, then you have to clean the screen of spark arrestor in the muffler. You can replace it if needed.

I hope, this information will help you. Stay safe
