Weedeater Featherlite RTE115C Leakage of Fuel from Carburetor

Hello Folks,

I am suspecting fuel leaks from my three years old Weedeater Featherlite RTE115C. What should I do? Someone, please guide who have faced the same issue.

Regards

Greg

Hi Greg,

It is possibly due to floating regulator in the Weedeater’s carburetor bowl, which has stuck open because of something that went through the fuel filter while jamming the control device open. Furthermore, this would let you overfill the Weedeater’s carburetor bowl thus, leading to dripping out a carburetor & zero backpressure on your Weedeater’s priming bulb. Take the carburetor separately in a neat & clean environment. Afterwards wipe out the parts down & check for unwanted items & put them back together. I hope that provided information will help you.
