Weedeater Featherlite RTE115C starting issues

Hi Guys,

I purchased a Weedeater Featherlite RTE115C two years ago. When I used it last night, its pull cord suddenly came out & would not pull back. I tried fixing the pull cord, however now it is not starting. I have replaced a sparkplug. Need your help and suggestions to fix the problem.

Thanks a lot

William

Hi William,

The reason could be due to a waterlogged carburetor. In order to clean it, put a trimmer flat. Now, push a throttle button to ‘run’ & pull a string two or three times for clearing the excess gas. This process can be longer in case of more flooding. When all the extra gas is completely cleared, try holding the choke. Now pull the string. If the problem persists, then you have an issue with the carburetor. It is better to adjust the carburetor.
